22/03/2013

On Friday, 22 March a team from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) visited Wallumbilla. They spoke with students from Year 8 to 10 regarding careers and career development.

There was also an opportunity for the students to find out generally what university life is like and how it differs from high school.

Students engaged in some specific activities from the faculty of engineering after listening to a 4th year engineering students detail her course experiences at USQ.

The key messages delivered to students were:

1. When thinking of the future all things are possible.

2. There are many pathways to get to where you want to go.
